Returns Policy
Your satisfaction is our goal at Amiko Kawaii Goods. We try our very best to describe the products shown on this website as accurately as possible. If you need to return an item that was purchased at www.Amikosf.com, you will need to contact us at 415-931-8889 first for authorization, and we will do everything possible to assist you. No returns will be accepted without express authorization from AmikoSF. If an order is authorized for return, we will issue an authorization number to you and communicate the return address with further instructions at that time.
If the item is returned for any other reason, other than damaged or defective merchandise, you will be responsible for the return shipping postage and will be charged a 15% restocking fee if no exchange is requested by the customer. The difference from the return will be credited back to your original form of payment. We will only pay for the return shipping cost if the product is deemed defective or if the wrong item was shipped. If the items are damaged when you received it please call us within five (5) business days to have the damaged items shipped back to us for an exchange.
ALL returns must be in original condition, packaging, and sent back to us within five (5) business days of the original delivery to you. Any custom orders, discontinued items, or Sale items may not be returned for any reason.
We will credit you in the same manner as your original payment within five (5) business days of receiving the returned item. Please keep in mind that your credit card company may take up to 30 days to post your refund.
Lost or Stolen packages
Amiko Kawaii Goods is not responsible for lost and stolen packages, please follow the instructions below:
If you didn't receive your order but the shipping carrier is reporting that it has been delivered, please contact us as soon as possible. We will file a claim with the carrier who will perform a detailed investigation and potentially involve local law enforcement to recover your package. Upon completion of this investigation we will replace or refund your order as needed. Please allow up to 21 business days for the completion of the investigation. If the shipping carrier cannot conclude or rules against their investigation, Amiko Kawaii Goods is held harmless from all disputes beyond shipping carrier's initial claim. We suggest for all orders to select "Insurance + Signature" at checkout.
Shipping
We at Amiko Kawaii Goods make every effort to ship your order promptly once the order is received. Please note that orders are packed between the weekdays of Monday through Thursday PST this does not include transit times. The transit time will be determined by the shipping method we have chosen. If the customer states otherwise, we will typically use the most economical method for shipping, usually UPS Ground or USPS Priority. The cost difference between the requested expedite shipping method and economical shipping method will be the responsibility of the customer. At this time we do not offer International Shipping. All orders placed Internationally will be fully refunded back in the original form of payment. We only ship to valid US residential addresses. If an item is backordered, someone from our store will notify you of an approximate date of when the product is expected to be back in stock and ready for shipping. When a single order contains multiple items, the item with the longest estimated ship time may impact time of shipment. Multiple items in a single order may ship in separate boxes.
